MULOBEZI TOWN COUNCIL HANDS OVER CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT FUND (CDF) PROJECTS IN MULOBEZI CONSTITUENCY

 Mulobezi, 9th May, 2025 – Mulobezi Town Council has handed over six projects funded under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to the beneficiary communities. The handover ceremony was officiated by Honorable Raphael S. Mabenga, Member of Parliament for Mulobezi Constituency.
The projects valued at over K4.1 million, aims to improve education and se curity in the constituency. These include:
• Sejamba Primary School: A 1×3 classroom block (Cost of K820,000.00) and desks.
• Kasamba Primary School: A 1×3 classroom block (Cost of K830,063.00) with solar installation and desks.
• Kabula primary School: A 1×3 classroom block (cost of K833,938.00) with solar installation and desks.
• Salumbwe Primary School: A 1×3 classroom block (Cost of K 845,287.00) which is Zesco powered.
• Sanembo Primary School: A 1×3 classroom block ( labour based project Cost of K 248,443.00 ) and desks
• Machile Police post rehabilated at a cost of K525,000.00 which is Zesco powered.
In his remarks, Hon. Mabenga emphasized the government’s commitment to improving the lives of citizens, particularly in the areas of education, security and healthcare. He urged the beneficiary communities to take ownership of the projects and ensure their proper maintenance and utilization.
Mulobezi Town Council expresses its satisfaction with the successful completion and handover of these vital projects. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact these projects will have on the communities and are committed to ensuring that ongoing and future projects are completed on time and to the highest standards”, stated Council Secretary, Ireen Kasininga Kayuni (MRS).
The handover ceremony was attended by the Council Chairperson, Council Secretary, Area Councillor, representatives from the District Education Board Secretary, Office Of The President, Police Department and other dignitaries.
