Mulobezi Town Council holds a stakeholders validation meeting to receive submissions on the draft Constituency Development Fund (CDF) guidelines.
The meeting serves as a platform for stakeholders to give comments on the draft guidelines. Additionally, the comments are to be consolidated into a report and submitted to the Ministry through respective the provincial Local Government Office.
This follows the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development’s review of the 2022 CDF guidelines after the enactment of the CDF Act No. 1 of 2024.
The revised guidelines provide direction on the management, disbursement, utilization and accountability of the CDF, outline stakeholder roles in implementation, procurement, and monitoring and also address cross-cutting issues to ensure the fund support inclusive and sustainable development.
In attendance were the Council Secretary, Ward Development Committees , Constituency Development Fund Committee and Ward Councilors.
